The Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) program is for skilled workers with foreign work experience who want to immigrate to Canada permanently. 

 

Who Can Apply?

FSW candidates must meet a minimum points requirement to be eligible for this program. The minimum points calculation is based on a selection of factors such as age, education, work experience, and language proficiency. The current pass mark is 67 out of 100 points.

Program Advantages:

Applicants Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of continuous full-time skilled work experience in the same type of job in the last 10 years before applying.
  • Work experience has to be in 1 or more NOC 0, A, B jobs. 
  • Language at Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in all 4 abilities. 
  • Must have a minimum of high school diploma. 
  • Must have enough money to support yourself and your dependent family members when you settle in Canada. 
  • Must intend to live outside of the province of Quebec. 

 

Application Processes:

  3. If eligible, sign the service agreement with Altec Global.
  4. Getting the required documents ready.
  5. Submitting your Express Entry profile. 
  6. Receiving Invitation to Apply. 
  7. Submitting the whole family’s federal immigration applications. 
  8. Receiving approval on your applications.
  9. Arriving in Canada.

 

Federal Skilled Work program is managed under the Express Entry system which uses the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to rank interested candidates.
